I got GameMaker Studio 2 yesterday, spent most of the day watching their "My first game" tutorials and made a clone Asteroids game then I started working on a game of my own. See, I've been playing a whole lot of Pokemon recently so I just got the idea to make a Pokemon-esque game. Not that it's the only reason of course, I love everything about video games so it was about time I got a proper game engine. So now I can create and distribute games on the PC, I also heard that I can export HTML and upload it here. So that's a thing, if I end up doing it.
Anywho, I did realize making a Pokemon-esque game is quite a big task that will require a lot of time and effort but I feel enthusiastic about it regardless. Even more so because I intend to make all of the assets myself. Except for the music because admittedly, I have never come up with a song in my entire life. I love listening to them but that's about it. So I'll probably have to find a freelancer sometime in the distant future when I've made major progress in the games development.
Oh and I'll probably be uploading concept art of 'mons here since I gots no site and even if I did the host would restrict what content I'd be allowed to post on it.
